Where it all Began...

As a young 20yr old, Bolt started A1 Sign Shop back in October 1983, located at 132 Blair Street Bunbury.
Within two years he had established a strong clientele, and with the workload increasing it was obvious that he needed assistance. At this time Alan Wells from Spencer Signs was finishing up his apprenticeship - soon becoming Bolt's business partner and they continued to grow the business together.
A1 was then moved to Lot 6 Albert Rd Bunbury, firstly in the front of a three unit property, then to the larger rear unit where they operated up until 2005.
2005 was a disastrous year - a tornado struck in May, causing mass destruction across a belt from the beach to inland farming areas - Albert Road was severely affected, a war zone! With help from our friends and the offer for a temporary premises from Peter Krikke of Bunbury Toyota A1 was setup in the newly constructed McCombe Road Davenport - and to this day this is where A1 Sign Shop has remained.
